When I was younger I always tell myself how great it would be when I am in my twenties. I would imagine all the great things like owning a successful company or getting to wear high heels and have the money to design my house the way I want it to be.
This year I am 20 and I know who I want to become and what I wish to be in a working field. What I do not know is how. They say that when you reach 20 things are going to speed up, you have not got the luxury to just play around all the time. Folks also tend to pressure you on the "What are you doing with life" OR "When are you actually graduating and start working?" questions.
On top of that, social media has a great way of telling you that you suck because everyone's instagram is filled with amazing pictures that lead you to think you are not "GOOD ENOUGH". And also, because Gigi Hadid or Karlie Kloss is in their 20's and amazingly slaying their career and education. GIRLLLLLLLL DONT LET THAT AFFECT YOU.
Frankly, we won't know what is going to happen 5 years down the road. Hell we do not even know what will happen tomorrow. Maybe some of us reach goals at a quicker pace. That simply does not change the fact that we're all 20 year olds just doing our best to get by. We're going to make shitty choices and perhaps we are going to f**k things up here and there once awhile. But no one is as put together as they seem. They are also the ones who might just be as terrified as we are.

Everyone is going to post only the good things on social media. Just when you think Karlie Kloss or the rest of the Victoria Secret Model is perfect, they might be struggling with situations we do not know of. There are going to be bad hair days when you have an important meeting to attend or when you can't present your best for whatever reason. We need to comprehend that perfection is a cleverly crafted illusion, created by someone who fabricate the idea to throw off at us. Once you realized that , perfection is a myth.
It is healthy to push yourself to bring the best version of you but don't beat yourself up. Don't miss out the great things in life while you're on your journey, chasing for something greater. A friend once told me , "if you aint enjoying the journey, you're doing it wrong."
You are amazing the way you are, keep doing whatever you think its right to be where you want to be. I believe in you.
PS : WHEN IN DOUBT *FLIPYOHAIRMAMA*
Till then, much love.
