To those who are sulking and cursing the entire universe and hating on this day, honey I don't know what to say to you.
Originally Valentines Day is just a Western Christian feast day to honor saints. This day is recognized as a significant cultural celebration in many places in the world. As century passed, humans evolve this day into "showing affection day" for lovers.
Readers, if Valentines Day is about showering love and since many of us think that Valentines Day a big deal *singsJBinanannoyinglyhightune* BABEH you should go and love yourself. Cause loving yourself should be a big deal and you should love yourself more today well cause, why the hell not and IT IS the day the world celebrates love.
If you didn't spend your Valentines Day well this year, plan for a better one next year. Save up some good cash and bring yourself on a holiday. Have some Tequilla shots with your best friends. Visit tourist places in your own hometown and dance to Jazz with strangers on the street. Camp on a hill and stay up till sunrise.
These are life choices, you shouldn't feel the need for someone to make your Valentines Day complete, what you need is getting out of the pathetic pity pot and make a choice for yourself by going out there and celebrate love.
After all the best investment you can make is investing in yourself with love.
